Weekend get away to Mons Cliffs – Denmark

Looks like sun came back to Denmark. Thank you Sun for showing up, as I thought you had some difficulties to understand that it is summer season not autumn. You are such a blondy Sun, but please shine shine shine!

My last weeks top story is about the question which I almost forgot as I haven’t heard it for such a long time, but thanks for that 50-60 year old man for reminding it.

I am in the Lidl shop. Standing in a queue. Putting my goods on the counter and taking two “things” to separate my goods from the man behind because I am such a nice person I gave him another one “thing” (it was too far from him to reach it ).
He: Thank you.
Me: You are welcome.
He: Are you from Russia?
Me with smiling face: No.

Last Sunday I had such a nice trip to Møns Klint (Mons cliffs) it is around 140 km away from Copenhagen. The bright chalk cliffs stretch some 6 km from the park of Liselund. The highest spot is 128m height. We were 4 people so it was much cheaper, faster and comfortable to rent a car than go by public transportation. It cost for one person 213DKK. I heard so many great comments about it and saw so many beautiful pictures that it was MUST THING TO SEE during this summer. And I am more than happy about this trip. I never thought that such a flat country could have such a beautiful place!

We took one road of the distance 2.7km to see one part of the cliffs.We started from the top of the cliffs then took stairs to go all the way down to the beach. We walked in the beach and enjoyed the view of gigantic cliffs. Later we decided to go swimming in the sea and enjoyed the waves, after swimming ate our bagels (bought before in the cafe) and lay down on the warm stones for some suntan and just because it was so nice to pretend being 4 lazy lizards enjoying the warmth from the stones and the sun. It was such a great small road trip with good songs, perfect weather, food and people!

I highly recommend to visit Mons Cliffs.

Atrodo, kad saulė pagaliau susiprato ir pradėjo šviesti Danijoje. Ačiū saule už pasirodymą, manau, kad tarp mūsų buvo kažkoks nesusipratimas kas yra vasara, bet džiaugiuosi, kad bent jau vasaros gale supratai, kad reikia šviesti ir šildyti, tad kepink kepink keipink!!!

Aną savaitę sulaukiau jau seniai negirdėto klausimo. Tad ačiū tam 50-60 metų vyriškiui, kad priminė jį.

Stoviu eilėje vienoje iš parduotuvių. Susidėjau savo pirkinius ant kasos stalo, paėmiau “2 skirtukus” ir padėjau vieną po savo prekėmis, o kitą padaviau vyriškiui stovinčiam už manęs (mandagi norėjau pasirodyti ir tas skirtukas buvo kiek tolėliau nuo jo).

Aš: Nėra už ką.

Jis: Ar tu iš Rusijos?

Besišypasnati aš: Ne

Praėjusį sekmadienį susiorganizavomne su keliais draugais kelionę į Mons klintis. Jos yra maždaug 140 km nuo Kopenhagos. Baltos kreidos klintys nusidriekusios 6 km atstumu nuo Liselund parko. Aukščiausia klinčių viršukalnė 128m. Važiavome keturi žmonės tad daug pigiau, patogiau ir sutaupėme daug laiko išsinuomodami automobilį. Vienam žmogui kelionė kaivano grubiai apie 100litų. Buvau labai daug girdėjusi gerų atsiliepimų ir mačiusi daug nuostabių nuotraukų iš Mons Klinčių, tad tai buvo vienas iš vasaros tikslų pamatyti šį grožį. Niekada negalvojau, kad tokia plokščia šalis gali turėti tokią nuostabią vietą aplankyti!

Mes pasirinkome eiti vieną atkarpą 2,7km ilgio. Pradėjome eiti nuoklinčių viršaus tada atkarpai pasibaigus nusileidome laipteliais žemyn ir ėjome papludimiu atgal. Ėjome neskubėdami, mėgaudamiesi didžiulėmis baltomis uolomis, jūra ir saule. Vėliau nusprendėme išsimaudyti ir pasimėgauti bangomis, išlipę iš vandens surijome po sumuštinį ir įsitaisėme prieš saulę atsiguldami ant įkaitusių akmenų, atrodėme keturi labai tingūs besimėgaujantys saule ir šilima driežai. Tai buvo nuostabi maža kelionė su tobulomis dainomis, tobulu oru geru maistu ir draugais!!!!

Rekomenduoju būtinai aplankyti šią vietą jei jau atsidūrei netoli Kopenhagos!!
